Central Region: Youth Artisans Receive Training On Entrepreneurship And Financial Management in Assin Fosu

NATIONAL YOUTH AUTHORITY ORGANISES TRAINING ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT FOR YOUTH ARTISANS IN ASSIN FOSU.

Over 60 youth artisans in Assin Fosu in the Assin Fosu Municipality of the Central have received training on entrepreneurship and financial management.

The Officer in charge of the Assin Fosu Municipal Youth Authority Secretariat Mr Ampomah Kotroka speaking to Oscar Adawu Dadzie said the seminar which was organised by the National Youth Authority of the Assin Fosu Municipal Assembly was aimed at enhancing the capacity of the artisans to gain knowledge gained on entrepreneurship and business development, marketing plans and product development, product and organization management planning, financial planning, record keeping, financial resource mobilization etc.

According to him, the beneficiaries will be self-reliant if they utilize what they have learnt well.

He also advised that people should not see skills acquisition as something for the illiterate but as a way forward.

Meanwhile, a facilitator from the Assin Business Advisory Centre, Mr Atta Boakye, admonished Ghanaians to register their businesses in other to benefit from government interventions.
