BREAKING: Three Arrested On A Mission To Assassinate NPP Regional Executive Elections Aspirant; Shocking Names Drops

Police on the Tamale – Walewale Highway on Wednesday arrested 3 suspects who were on their way to carry out an assassination of a top NPP politician from the North East Region.

The 3, Amadu Alhassan from Tamale, Atito Godstime, and Seidu Ado Bala both Nigerian Nationals were arrested at Kokubila on the Walewale-Tamale Highway.
The suspects were arrested with an AK 47 assault rifle which was fully loaded with ammunitions, a foreign pistol and 5 mobile phones.

Upon interrogations, the suspects denied being armed robbers, but admitted that, they were on a mission to assassinate a big Wig of the ruling New Patriotic Party from the North East Region who they believed was scheduled to use that same road on the same day.

The suspects were sent to the Northern Regional Police Command for further investigation and were sent to Court to be remanded in to custody.

In Court, the suspects revealed that, they were hired by one Alhaji Shani Mohammed Seidu to kill one of his opponents in the upcoming NPP Regional executive contest.

They further revealed that, Alhaji Shani Mohammed Seidu provided them with the guns and ammunitions to enable them carry out the crime.

A bench warrant was issued by the Court for the immediate arrest of Alhaji Shani Mohammed Seidu to appear and answer questions related to the matter.

The suspects have been remanded in to Police custody to reappear on a different date.
