Supreme Court Judge Samuel K. Marful Sau dead
Information gathered by MyNewsGh.com suggests that one of Ghana’s Supreme Court Justices Samuel K. Marful Sau has died.
The cause of his death is unknown. Justice Sau until his death was the Director of the Judicial Training Institute (JTI) and was appointed to the Supreme court in 2018 by President Nana Akufo-Addo.
Justice Marful Sau was a member of the 7 member Supreme Court panel that decided the 2020 Election Petition brought before the court by former President and flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2020 election John Dramani Mahama.
The Supreme Court Justice was admitted to practice in Ghana as a Barrister-at-Law and Solicitor in 1984 and served briefly as a prosecutor in the office of the Special Public Prosecutor from August 1984 to July 1986.
He was appointed a Justice of the High Court in 2002 and was elevated four years later to the Court of Appeal.
