Attitude of thievery a cause of retard development of most Ghanaian workers – Banda DCE.

The District Chief Executive for Banda, Hon. Emmanuel Akoneh, has said most Ghanaian workers steal from their employers to create unimaginable wealth for themselves which retards development of businesses.

The District Chief Executive said this on Tain FM Anopa Nkommo show with Appiah Kubi, in an interview when addressing and commending Ghanaian workers for the immense efforts contributing to the transformation of the nation’s economy which he factually added that most of workers rather turn to accuse employers of being encumbers, whereas their attitudes do worse.

“I urge all workers to use this occasion to reflect on what workers could do individually and collectively to accelerate Ghana’s development in their respective fields of endeavor to increase productivity and improve the country’s global competitive”, he stressed.

He added, “Let me state without fear or favour that most Ghanaian workers are thieves. They steal from their employers and amass wealth for themselves.”

The DCE however called on employers and employees to have collective decisions to facilitate business’ development, therefore there is the need for employers to care much for employees so that employees will be endear to their jobs.

He concluded that employees should change the attitude of stealing in their job positions.
