Aprakukrom-Odomase: Two butchered to death by unknown assailants [WATCH VIDEO, DISCRETION IS ADVISED]

At least, Two persons including a Francis Kwame Awuah, a 25 year old farmer and Miss Akosua Lydia, a 21 year old farmer, have being butchered to death at Aprakukrom near Odomase in the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono Region.

Information picked by Peace News show that the duo deceased are concubines for not too long a time.

Further information gathered indicated that the omen of the two occured on Saturday 26th, November, 2022 but the Police went to the scene and retrieved the bodies on Sunday 27th, November, 2022.

After Peace FM’s Nana Asempa Asa visited the area it was confirmed that Kwame Awuah’s body was found in his room lying in a pool of blood whilst his concubine Akosua Lydia body was also retrieved at a nearby cashew farm at the village.

The Sunyani West Municipal Chief Executive Hon.Evans Kusi Boadum together with Deputy Bono Region Police Commander ACP Mr. Samuel Yankey, Regional Staff Officer DSP Patrick Okai and Superintendent Eric Anaba Odomase District Police commander visited the family of the decease to commensurate with them.

The MCE urged the community to support the police with all the needed information which would lead to the arrest of the perpetuators of this heinous crime against deceased.

He said the Assembly has allocated ghc 3000 to anybody who would help with information leading to the arrest of the killers.

ACP Mr. Samuel Yankey, the Deputy Bono Regional Police Commander says the case have been reported to the Inspector General of Police and he’s worried about the incident.

He also appealed to the community to help Police administration with further information.

The Assembly-member of the area Hon. Dognekoh Atta explained he got the information on Saturday.

He said no part of their bodies were stoled.

The spokesperson for the two family Mr. Peter Kwame Asante assured the police with the support of the community to help them unravel the cause of the incident.
