The Member of Parliament for Akrofuom Constituency, Hon. Alex Blankson has paid a working visit to the Akrofuom District Assembly.
The visit according to him is to officially introduce himself to the management and staff of the Assembly and also to solicit their support and cooperation in his service to the people of Akrofuom as the new Member of Parliament.
Addressing the gathering at a short ceremony, the first time Legislator said it’s imperative that he introduces himself to the management and staff of the Assembly though they are all aware he is the new Member of Parliament for the constituency.
According to him, his office is ready to see Akrofuom constituency improved and he needs the effort of the Assembly staffs to achieve that.
The District Chief Executive, Hon. Maurice Jonas Woode thanked him for the visit and congratulated him for his victory in the 2020 Parliamentary elections.
He assured the Legislative Member that the Assembly will accord him all the necessary support to enable him achieve his vision for the Constituency.
The Ag. District Coordinating Director, Mr. Douglas Ebenezer Ntiamoah said that the staff of the Assembly are well motivated to see Akrofuom developed so they will work hand in hand to claim development to the district.
He disclosed that the Assembly had a cordial relationship with the outgone lawmaker and he is optimistic that the same cordiality will be extended to him.
Mr. Ntiamoa Douglas appealed to Hon Blankson to ensure that projects that were initiated by the former MP are completed.
