A/R: Police deny report of alleged kidnapping

The Ashanti Regional Police Command of the Ghana Police Services has issued a release to disclaim a reference of an alleged case of kidnapping.

The release wish to inform the general public to disregard a case of an alleged kidnapping of 2 St. Luis Junior High students in the Ashanti Region, as the matters are different from what the actual case is about.

It saids the 2 two girls apparently went to visit their boy friends at Tafo-Ahenebronum and that they have been staying in an Embassy hotel, at Suame-Kotoko with their friends since Friday 5th February, 2021, but pretended it was kidnapping.

The Regional Police Command therefore wish to thank the general public for their cooperation and will like to assure them to their resolve to deal effectively and efficiently with all cases reported to the Police.
