Old Tafo-Pankrono Municipal Assembly donates 600 pieces of LED street light bulbs to Assembly Members, Calls Members To Support Eradicate Crimes, Robberies.

The Old Tafo-Pankrono Municipal Assembly in the Ashanti Region has provided 600 pieces of street light bulbs for the assembly members in the municipality to light up darkened places so as to eradicate crimes and robberies.

A total of 16 electoral areas plus market places and schools in the Municipality will benefit from these Chinese brand 150 watts led lamps.

Presenting the automatic fluorescent at a short ceremony at the forecourt of the Municipal Assembly on Tuesday, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Lord Inusah Lansah said the lamps were given following a request made by the assembly members during their general assembly meeting.

Hon Lord Inusah Lansah MCE Old Tafo-PankronoAccording to him it was prudent and urgent to light up every streets and corners in the Municipality to be able to combat crimes and robberies.

The former broadcaster as part of his promises to protect the lives of people and properties, saw the need to have more street lights as it’s one of the means to beef up security in the communities of Old Tafo.

Hon. Lord Inusah Lansah said, he will make sure to fix all the challenges facing the electorates as far as the issue of security is concerned and therefore solicited for support from the assembly members.

He finally called on the Assembly Members to take steps to ensure that the street bulbs are used accordingly as requested.

The Presiding Member PM, for the Assembly, Hon Richard Appiah received the bulbs on behalf of the assembly members.

He expressed much gratitude to the management of the Assembly for responding to their request.

The PM assured that they will utilize it as expected and also ensure maintenance culture.
