A/R; Afigya Kwabre South District: these buildings will be soon demolished

Afigya Kwabre South District Assembly together with the Military and other State Security apparatus in the Ashanti Region have stormed and commenced markings of structures and buildings that have been in line and fallen within 500 metres buffer zones of Quarries and the Military shooting range at Krobo, Hemang, Ntribuoho and other communities surrounding the rock.

The two days exercise was to identify buildings and structures that have been located within buffer zones and the shooting range to be able to ensure smooth demolition exercise and its associated compensations.

After the markings the District Chief Executive for the Afigya Kwabre South, Hon. Dr Adu-Poku Christian aka APC spoke to Rexkin Ohene Boateng and said that the activity is part of the Assembly’s decision and upcoming demolition exercise that will soon take place at the buffer zones of Quarries and Military shooting range where people have erected and have putting up structures and buildings.
