Kintampo Is Left Behind When It Comes To Education – Gprtu Secretary Bemoans

Reading books worth thousands of Ghana Cedis have been presented to the Ghana Library Board at the Kintampo North Municipality of Bono East Region to stock the facility.

The donation comes at a time the Librarian Mr. Peter Amoako Mensah started calling on the citizens of Kintampo and other benevolent organizations to come to support the library so that students and other people can go there and read.

A campaign which caught the attention of the Kintampo branch of Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) to presented these books.

Secretary of the Union Alhaji Mumuni Adams explained to Peace News correspondent Nana Yaw Aboagye of Adars Fm what motivated them to do the donation.

Receiving the books Mr. Peter Amoako Mensah the Librarian reiterated that donating books is a form of transformation to human beings’ life and therefore commended GPRTU for their timely intervention.

Mr. Amoako used the opportunity to call for more support for the Kintampo library.
