Person’s With Disabilities Receive Support

Bekwai Municipal Assembly

The Bekwai Municipal Assembly in the Ashanti Region together with the Social welfare have given a relief items such as deep freezers, industrial sewing machines, fufu pounding machines, hair dryers,and many others to Ninty_two (92) person’s with disability.

Speaking during a short ceremony to distribute the relief items to the person’s living with disabilities at forecourt of the Bekwai Municipal Assembly, the Municipal Chief Executive of Bekwai Municipal Assembly, Hon. Kwaku Kyei Baffour advice the beneficiaries to appreciate what the government has given to them .

Speaking in an interview with Peace News reporter Stephen Sekyere ,some of the PWDs who benefited from the items express their happiness and gratitude to the Municipal Assembly and the president for listening to their plea and shared how beneficial it will to them, they disclosed some of their challenges.
