According to the Chief Executive the areas which are going to be affected by the demolition are needed to be prior informed and find a smooth way to carry the exercise, compensate and relocate the affected people if the need be.

Hon. APC stressed that he is exhausting all human-face measures possible for now but the law will take it course, if anyone refuses to go the accepted way as planned.

It was not an easy meeting with the residents of the said areas but there was calm in the end, when both parties agreed to meet two weeks from today.

Meanwhile some residents upon speaking at the meeting expressed their feelings towards the impending exercise.

According to them the allocated place was not initially going to used for the military training zone hence they were quite worried and displeased with the entire approach, but at the end of it all peace and understanding were prevailed.
