Ahafo Region – PWDs Praises Government on their Share of the Common fund

Persons living with disability in the Asutifi South of the Ahafo region has commended NPP government.

According to them, the previous government used to give them physical cash but NPP is rather building capacity of PWDs to be self dependants,we are deeply overwhelmed.

What makes the difference is that, the physical money we were being given by the previous administration were not used for the purpose of which the money were meant for by us, we buy clothes, food and and even spend on our kids with it.

Some of the beneficiaries received deep freezers, Provisions, Scholarships,Latops,Wheel chairs, corn milling machine etc.

Their Secretary Mr. Yaw Preko spoke Joe Pawa after receiving the items from Asutifi South district assembly at Hwidiem.

The District Chief Executive for Asutifi South District Assembly Hon.Robert Dwomoh Mensah in his submission, advised all the beneficiaries to make good use of what they have recieved for socio-economic development of the country as the government is committed to not living anyone behind.
