FIFA world cup: “Ghana will never qualify to FIFA tournament in Qatar mark it on the wall” ~ Jubilee house Presidential Staffer

A Presidential Staffer at the Office of President Akufo-Addo Jubilee House, Newton Offei Abeiku has said Ghana will never qualify for the world cup in Qatar.

The The Super Eagles are on the cusp of qualifying for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar but Nigeria need to get past their fiercest rivals, the Black Stars of Ghana, to make it to the Mundial.

Ghana also considers the game a donor die affair after thumping 1 goal past South Africa to reach this level.

For Nigeria, having navigated through the group stage where they overpowered the likes of Cape Verde, Liberia, and the Central African Republic, the Super Eagles are 180 minutes away from Qatar 2022 with a two-legged tie against the Black Stars being the last hurdle.

Still reeling in the disappointment of an unimpressive outing at the last Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon, the Black Stars, and the Eagles are hoping to make with qualification for the 2022 World Cup.

Reacting to the first leg of the two legged encounter, the Presidential Staffer wrote:

“Ghana will never qualify for FIFA tournament in Qatar; just mark it on the wall.”

The post has been receiving serious condemnation from Ghanaian social media users.

“A government appointee who thinks that running down the activities of another government appointees( sport minister) is cool . Don’t come reply with your semantics.” One comment read.

However, others believe the team not qualifying will save the public purse from being “wasted” over the team.
