Council of State Elections: Daddy Boat capitalises on youth entrepreneurship

A Kumasi based Business Consultant and Entrepreneur, Mr Emmanuel Boateng who is contesting for the Council of State position in the Ashanti Region has stated that his philosophy and vision to contest the position in the Region is to champion the youth in business as well as promoting enriched tourism in the Ashanti region to creates employment and wealth for the people living within.

According to him Championing the youth in entrepreneurship, marketing and promoting tourism in Ashanti region is his topmost priority.

Mr Emmanuel Boateng, Council of State contestant.

Mr Emmanuel Boateng has joined the race with six other persons who are strongly contesting the incumbent Council of State Member in the Ashanti Region, Nana Owusu Achiaw Brempong who doubles the Chief of Akrofonso Traditional Area in the Sekyere South District of Ashanti.

Council of State elections would be taken off on Friday 12 February, 2021 Nationwide between the hours of 10:00 o’clock in the morning and 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon. In this case for Ashanti Region woud be taken at the Residency of the Regional Coordinating Council, Danyame Kumasi.

Meanwhile the President, Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, persuant to article 89(2) of the Constitution had already appointed 11 persons to the Council of State headed by Juabenhene, Nana Otuo Siriboe II.

Speaking with heroesghnews man, Nana Akwasi Kyere on Monday, Hon Boateng Emmanuel who is populary known as Daddy Boat pointed that, the post of the council of state is not meant for adults but for those who could counsel the government with innovative idealogies to support the government agenda.

The Business oriented Man advice the Electoral College to vote for someone with business expertise so as to exploit more business prospects and tourism with the government.
