2016 Elections/Ashanti Region: Northerners mad at JM

Northerners’ Association in Kwabre East District Constituency in the Ashanti Region has debunked recent statement by President John Dramani Mahama about hatred the Npp has for Northerners.

The National Democratic Congress party’s flag bearer, John Mahama recently in his campaign trail in the Upper West Regional Capital Wa alleged that members in the Npp fraternity displeased Northerners especially when it comes to a situation whereby they need someone to lead the party, adding that he feels sad for any Northerner who calls for change in his government, He said Nana Addo and the Npp have nothing good to offer Zongos. President JM stated that, he also laments and worries for Dr. Bawmia the running mate of Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo for been instrumental in the Npp but will be rejected during their flagbearership race.

Speaking at a press conference to disclaim and register their displeasure the chairman of the Association, Mr. Mohammed Gawo said that such kind of tribal politics will bring serious apathy in the country.

He described those statements as fallacy, barbaric, cooked which must be dismissed, rubbish and throw it in the thin air. Mr. Gawo chastised the NDC Leader to refrain from such atrocities and must set a good example as a leader in this country.

Presenting a varieties of items to to Npp members at Asonomaso-Nkwanta to enable, equip and boost them to work hard so as to climb success in the forthcoming elections, Chaiman Gawo advised Northerners not to pay attention to Prez. John Mahama and Ndc but entreated them to vote massively for Nana Addo.
