Be Merciful To Deprived People- CEO Of Trinity Hospital Advises Ghanaians, Constructs Full Bed Room edifice For 77yr Old Widow.
God in holy book of Proverbs 19:17 expects his people to consider people with emotional or physical disabilities, those suffering with illness, the widow and the orphan as so whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.
Ghanaians frequently exhibit generosity to their fellow nation brothers and sisters who are financially and socially handicapped, among them are corporate institutions, Philanthropists religious denominations and non profit organisations, among others.
The recent benevolence that has put smile on the faces of people at Akim Sekyere in the Eastern Region and has got people talking is when the chief executive officer of Trinity hospital located at Pankrono in the Old Tafo-Pankrono Municipality of the Ashanti Region issued a full house key to a 77 year old widow over the weekend.
Dr. Emmanuel Obeng constructed the fully furnished bedroom facility on the merits that Mad. Mary Gyan has over the years lived in state of depression.
At a short durbar to dedicate the edifice, the Pankrono-Kodua based Hospital Boss stated that deprivation could be the consequence of a lack of income and other living economic resources, which adversely and cumulatively result the individual into living in poverty.
According to him the benevolence was part of his corporate social responsibilities and a call to duty as a christian.
The chief executive however disclosed that people with deprived situations are not because they have committed a sin or crime that has brought to them their present living conditions.
As a Medical Doctor, he revealed that a key aspect of quality healthcare is to have good rest, sleeping and good diet, however seeing an aged being deprived with such necessities was not healthy.
