Sunyani Fiapre: Executive Mastery in Organizational Development and Appreciative Leadership Training Held.

EXECUTIVE MASTERY IN ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND APPRECIATIVE LEADERSHIP EMODEL TRAINING ONGOING AT CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY COLLEGE, GHANA, CUCG- FIAPRE.

College for Community and Organisational Development in collaboration with the Catholic University College, Fiapre and Institute of Organisational Development Florida, USA has organised a five days intensive training at the Catholic University College, Ghana- Fiapre campus for 11 institutions.

The workshop is based on Executive Mastery in Organisational Development and Appreciative Leadership Emodel.

Participants were made up of executives and directors from the various Regional, Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies. Others were the Religious and Traditional Leaders, Heads of departments from business and academia.

The rest were Managers, Entrepreneurs and several others who hold leadership, and aspiring position in the country.

The participants will undergo through, 14 organisational development sessions including project work using action research model.

Speaking with the president of college for community and organizational, Dr Gabriel Gbiel Bernaku said the Emodel was primarily designed for CEOS, entrepreneurs & MDAs.

The lead facilitator outlined the content of the Emodel which includes the introduction to organisation development OD, theory and practice (overview), the impact of action research model in organisational development facilitation skills.

The contents also includes the demonstration of Weisbord Six Box Model to Diagnose Client Interventionsttt, internal and external consulting experience and ethical values.

Coaching and facilitating human interaction techniques, OD process consulting- contracting and negotiation.

The participants will be also trained on how to gain leadership buy-in and commitment through influencing skills internal organisational Development consulting practice, world café- large group dialogue.

They will also be trained on how to lead 0D conflict resolution, appreciative leadership, values alignment and appreciative inquiry and project work group presentations summary & graduation ceremony for the participants.

Dr Bernaku said, CCOD is a premier OD Technical University in Africa focused on developing appreciative leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals and academia using behavioural science approaches to bring about people and organisational effectiveness and transformation.

He urged all participants who have the intention to pursue ODCC to take the advantage of the Emodel program to help build their capacity in their field of endervor.

A Senior Lecturer and Co-ordinator for CCOD/ CUCG Dr. Mrs. Vida Korang advised the youth who are willing to do business and entrepreneurs to be part of this significant life changing training program to help model their future.
