KSI: CSUC UNVEILS MIRROR OF LIFE SERIES

The Christain Service University College on Friday March 1,2013 launched Mirrow of Life Seminar Series which is in line with CSUC aim at promoting knowledge about Christ through the training of men and women with moral uprightness, academic excellence, and passion to serve and transform society with the theme , “science and homosexuality”. It seeks to address young people who engage themselves in gay, lesbianism, masterbation and all sexual immorarity.

The Head of Department of Theology, Mrs Christine Adjei Glover who initiated the event enthreated parents to check and always be alert on their wards especially those in schools(SHS and TERTIALY).

Minority Leader in Parliament, Mr. Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu has described as unacceptable and abominable, the practice of homosexuality. Mr. Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu said no law or custom permitted the practice of homosexuality in Ghana, and therefore called on political, religious and traditional leaders, and all and sundry to resist any attempt to legalize such vile act.

The Minority Leader was speaking during the launch of a seminar series programme dubbed, “Mirror of Life Seminar Series.” The programme was organised by the Department of Theology of CSUC on the theme, “Science and Homosexuality.”

Delivering the main address, Dr. K. E. K. Aboah, Consultant Surgeon, Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital said the current position of the law on homosexuality was unclear, and called for stringent laws that would make the practice of homosexuality illegal and criminal.

He revealed that about 200000 Ghanains are gay partners which 40000 had reqistered contributing to 1% of ghana total population and 61160270 gay in the world.
