Tolon: MP Bemoans Over Lack of Time For Constituents.

We Vote On Every Business In 8th Parliament- MP Bemoans Lack of Time For Constituents.

Alhaji Habib Iddrisu, the Mp for Tolon and also the second deputy majority chief whip in the 8th parliament has described the current parliament as one that requires serious business hence have to vote on almost everything due to that, the New Patriotic Party have no comfort as it used to be in the previous parliament.

He said, because the MP lack time for business in their various constituencies.

He said that, because the New Patriotic Party has no clear majority in Parliament, it requires that, every member of parliament should be present regarding passing of bills else the need theneed to vote on almost every business of Parliament.

Alhaji Habib Iddrisu was speaking on behalf of the Northern Regional MPs caucus during the Regional delegates conference of the NPP justifying why members of Parliament can not come to their constituencies each and every time to support party work at the grassroots.

The Yendi Senior High School was set agog as party faithfuls thronged the grounds to participate in the annual Regional delegates conference

He added added that, despite the huge task given to MPs to perform, they will try as much as possible to support the party win the remaining three seats in the Northern Region which Is currently occupying by the NDC.

General Secretary of the Party, John Boadu outlined various developments brought to the Northern Region by the NPP government hence will ensure that the Northern Region becomes a strong hold of the Party.

The Chief Scribe for the party also called for unity amongst the rank and files of the party in the Northern Region to help protect and guide the gains made by NPP in the region.

Mr. John Boadu slams the NDC over the poor performance or contributions to the Northern Region.

The Northern Regional Minister, Shani Alhassan Saibu also on his part commended the NPP government for the PEACE and tranquility reinstalled in YENDI.

He assured that, they will do their best to make sure peace prevails in the enclave for more development under NPP.
