Paulina Akua Mosi (PAM) Foundation, a Ghanaian owned Non-Governmental Organization based in the USA has commissioned a three-unit Classroom Block for the Kindergarten (KG) section of Roman Catholic Basic School at Kintampo in the Bono East Region after their building’s roofing was ripped off by a heavy rainstorm somewhere last year 2022.
Speaking at the short ceremony, Madam Yaa Magritte a Representative of PAM Foundation said they saw the need to construct the 3-unit classroom block for the KG students so that teaching and learning could be assessible by the school children.
Madam Yaa Magritte however called on the School authorities to cultivate a maintenance culture so that the building can last longer and serve it’s purpose.
Attending the short handing over ceremony, Municipal Chief Executive for Kintampo North Hon. Issac Baffoe Ameyaw expressed his excitement and thanked PAM Foundation led by Mr. Ekuban for his massive contribution towards the development of Kintampo adding that the man have been supportive since the COVID-19 era.
He urged all other Philanthropists to also learn from him and help kintampo because the Government is doing everything possible for better education in Ghana but at times the Citizens have to also support.
Meanwhile, the Municipal Education Director for Kintampo North Mr. Silvester Opoku promised to monitor activities that would be carried out in the building in order to maintain it to meet it’s original state anytime the NGO visits the School.
