Local government ministry takes inventory of government’s flagship programs

A Deputy Minister of Local Government Decentralization and Rural Development, Hon. Collins Augustine Ntim has arrived in Asunafo North Municipality of Ahafo Region to take inventory of government flagship programs free SHS, Planting for Food and Jobs.

He will spend two days in Ahafo Region to visit all the six Municipal and District Assemblies for various directors to account the monies and resources government invested in their departments especially the impact of Free SHS, Planting for Food and Jobs in the people of Ahafo Region.

The Minister who doubles as the Member of Parliament for the Offinso North Constituency told Success FM’s Atiewin Mohammed in Goaso that he was impressed on the increasing figures of enrollments, BECE results and bomper havest of farmers through Planting for Food and Jobs.

The Sompahene of Goaso Traditional Council, Nana Appiah Kubi commended the ministry and government for holding the various Assemblies to account to the chiefs and people of Ahafo Region.
