Fix The Attitude: Residents Turn Classrooms Into KVIP, Paint With Faeces To Welcome Students From Vacation

Staff And Students Of Wassa Agave D/A Basic School are in a state of mourning as they are welcomed from vacation with splashes and paints of human excreta in their classrooms.

As Public Basic Schools in the country officially resumed from vacation yesterday, 13/09/2022, teachers and students of Wassa Agave D/A Basic School in the Wassa East district of western region were smashed with splashes and paints of human faeces in the classroom floors and on students and teachers desks.

The Headteacher of the school, Mr. Oscar Kyei-Donkor recounted that, it is usual routine to undertake cleanup exercise in the school to keep the school environment clean and healthy on the first day from vacation before teaching and learning takes off.

In the course of the cleanup exercise, they found in the class two room that the entire classroom is messed up with human excreta.

The chief of Wassa Agave, Togbe Agya Atta III, described those who use classrooms as place of defecation as witches and wizards.

This reporter spoke with the PTA chairman of Agave D/A Basic School, Mr. Francis Adjololo who disclosed that, this is the third time such disparaging occurrence has happened in the school.

The School Management Committee chairman of the school, Mr. Christopher Nublah apologized to the discouraged teachers and students about the terrible situation and assured them that, they are going to form community watch dog committee to watch over the school during the night.

Again, they will put gate on the school to prevent unlawful entries into the school’s premises.
