Ahafo RM Lauds “Addo show boy” for Ahafo Regional Disease Infectious Control Centre project
The Ahafo Regional Minister, Hon. George Boakye has commended President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo led administration for the numerous interventions and projects put in place to address infrastructural challenges within the region.
He explained that the construction of Ahafo Regional Disease infectious Control Centre among others were critical to the transformation of the area.
The Ahafo Regional Disease Infectious Control Centre is part of Ghana Covid-19 Private Sector Fund initiative to improve Ghana’s Testing capacities with regards to contagious illnesses announced by President Akufo Addo at the peak of COVID-19 pandemic in Ghana.
Speaking to Success FM’s Atiewin Mohammed after inspection of the facility at Goaso Government Hospital, Hon. George Boakye also praised the quality of work done by the Cresflex Construction Company Limited, the contractor working on the project.
The Medical Superintendent of Goaso Government Hospital, Dr. James Ankama said the project was third infectious Control Centre across the country and will help to improve the testing and treatment of infectious diseases in the region and beyond.
The site Engineer of Cresflex Construction Company Limited working on the project, Mr. David Owusu Konadu, said the facility is international standard will be completed and handed over to government before the end September, 2022.
