W/R: Wassa Amenfi Police, others receive PPEs

Wassa Amenfi East Municipal Assembly in the Western Region led by Hon. Helena Ama Appiah together with the NCCE Officer, Fire Commander, Environmental Officer, Ambulance Commander and a team from the Assembly have donated PPE’s to the people of Wassa Akropong the Municipal capital town to help curb spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Some institutions like the Wassa Akropong police station, Market places, Drivers, Hair salons, Akropong streets and some Schools at Wassa Akropong were the beneficiaries.

Along the line, the team also put measures to enforce the people from flaunting the Covid 19 protocols.

The Chief Executive Hon. Helena Ama Appiah presenting the items appealed to the people in the Municipality to abide by all the Protocols, wearing of nose mask, observing the social distance and washing of hands to help reduce the spread of the disease.

In an interview with with the press after the donation the Municipal Police Commander, some market women and others benefitiaries thanked the Assembly for their kind gesture and promised that they will use the nose mask, hands sanitizer and abide all the covid 19 protocols well.
