Unveiled: salaries of police officers, see how much a police officer earns

The Ghana Police Service is a security system mandated by law to protect lives and properties in Ghana. They are law enforcement bodies which means that they help the citizens to do what is always right.

It is the duty of the government to reward the works of a police officer by paying them monthly as other workers.

In Ghana, Police personnel are paid according to their ranks. Which means that, the higher your rank, the more salary you are entitled to receive. Even though, the actual amount of money paid to the police officers is not disclose, the least ranking police officer takes an average amount of 1500 Ghana cedis.

It is also to be noted that, a graduate Police officer will earn more than the holders of WASSCE or SSSCE.

Also, depending on your rank and responsibilities, there are other allowances that are added to the salary of a Police personnel.
