Techiman: Aluminium Workers Protest over persistent increase of product

The Aluminum workers in Techiman on Monday morning demonstrated within the sole distributors of aluminum materials in Techiman Bono East region A2 Company’s premises with playcards, stopping work for close to five hours over persistent increase of products due to the increase dollar to cedi rate in the country.

These Aluminum workers consist of people who use classes to do their work and other metallic materials.

These workers have also given these retailers Companies up to Friday to reduce the prices or they will advise themselves not to buy from them again.
According to these aggrieved workers, they admitted that, the exchange is very high but you cannot increase prices every weekend.

They said every weekend they will be an increase of prices of products all in the name of dollar cedi rate Ghana.

Some of these workers spoke to classic news to display their displeasure.
Mr Fred Antwi Boasiako has lamented that, A2 company has become a monopoly in its business, the dollar he use in his increment is too much and the best way for them to fellow is demonstrate against his actions and when nothing is done they will not go to him product again.
