There’s going to be 10 per cent increase in passengers fare on Monday February 2021, this means that passengers will be charged more than what they are currently paying, the National Association of Drivers have said.
According to them the service charge at DVLA has been increased to 15%, tarrifs on spare parts increased to 40%,tarrif on Lubricants increased by 25%.
In a statement copied to the Ministry of Transport and all Media Houses, the Association wishes to call on the the general public to comply with the introduction of the new fare which will start on next week Monday.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF 10% INCREMENT OF FARES
We the National Drivers Association Of Ghana wish to annouce to cherish clients that, there will be 10% increment of passengers fare coming Monday 22/02/2021.
This decision was informed by the increment some taxes at the DVLA and the ports.
As we speak, the service charge at DVLA has been increased to 15%, tarrifs on spare parts increased to 40%,tarrif on Lubricants increased by 25%.
Due to the rapid increase of these services,We are calling on all Ghanaians to comply with the introduction of the new fare coming Monday.
We ask all drivers to ensure passengers put on nose mask before the enter in their vehicles , together we can concer covid 19.
