Private Lotto Operators Are BANNED From Conducting Their Own Lotto Draws Under NLA 2024 License Agreement

The National Lottery Authority(NLA) under the 2024 new contract with the Private Lotto Operators expected to be signing on Friday, 30th August, 2024 has outrightly BANNED or PROHIBITED the Private Lotto Operators from conducting their own Lotto Draws either on Television Stations or indoors.

Under section 7.1.13., the Private Lotto Operators(PLO) SHALL use only NLA Drawn Numbers. The implications of this Clause is that Alpha Lotto Limited, Obiri & Sons Lotto Limited, and any other Private Lotto Operator who are currently running their own parallel 5/90 VAG lotto draws cannot continue to do so. The signing of the new contract on 30th August, 2024 automatically render the private lotto draws illegal.

Therefore, according to the credible sources with the Board Chairman, lawyer Gary Nimako Marfo, and Sammi Awuku, Director-General of the National Lottery Authority(NLA) are taking steps to confiscated all the draw machines of the Private Lotto Operators immediately after the signing of the new contract on 30th August 2024.
