The District Chief Executive for Bosomtwe in the Ashanti Region, Hon Lawyer Joseph Akwasi Assuming Esq. has urged the general public particularly to people living in the District to be accessible and get involved for head count in the upcoming population housing census.
According to him, the survey which will soon kickstart will enable the government determine total number of people in the District, Region, and the Country at large so as to be able to share the national cake accordingly.
Hon Lawyer Joseph Akwasi Assuming said this when commissioning a well furnished CHPS Compound, Nurses bangalow and a mechanized borehole water for people at Akokofe and nearby villages to improve health care at the area which the people have called for many years ago.
The Chief Executive charged them to take good care of the edifice by ensuring culture of maintenance and as well ensure regular check-up of their health.
The District Director of health services for Bosomtwe, Mr Timothy Twumasi Mensah in his part urge the people to make use of the facility first when they are sick before seeking for transfer to kuntenase or elsewhere since quality staffs have been transferred there.
Assuring to put proper maintenance culture, the health director commended the government for listening to their request as they have been in people’s apartment for operation.
