“Let’s All Resolve to focus on TVET to abate Unemployment Challenges” ~ Mr. Afful Manu (Nsawkawdehyeɛ).

Mr. Afful Manu Benjamin, a Proprietor for Star of Africa Montessori Academy and a businessman has said, focusing on Technical and Vocational Training (TVET) will be a focal to reducing unemployment in Ghana.

According to the Proprietor, the Ghanaian dream to transforming the economy through job creation should not neglect technical and vocational training over reading and writing form of education in the country.

He added that most Ghanaians are erudite but lacks basic job skills, hence the observance of unemployment challenges in the country.

In his view on the TVET initiative in an interview on Tain FM Anopa Nkommo with Appiah Kubi, Mr. Manu expressed that high youth unemployment gaps within the labour force underline the necessity for vocational and technical education, adding that it is time to focus and grasp the TVET to exert in gradal to eradicate the foe of unemployment crisis.

The businessman lamented that Ghana must place TVET education in the center of job creation strategy to successfully address the high youth unemployment.

He therefore added that the TVET could help on polishing the rudimental talented youths and through their natural talents, the government needs to be sober on them and create a proactive system to not inhibit their talents.
