Kwabre Asonomaso: Farmer, 66, Cries to Asantehene to interpose, reclaim his stolen farmland from Encroachers

A 66yr Old Farmer is calling on Asantehene, His Royal majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu II and state authorities to intercede on his behalf as allegedly, some people with by forcedly to have besieged and taken over his land located at Asonomaso in the Kwabre East Municipality of the Ashanti region.

According to Mr Kofi Asare-Bediako, Asonomaso community has been there without a chief as a result people just invade and sell lands anyhow and produce fake document,

He added that his only farmland containing palms and maize left over by his late mother over 20 years have been sold and destroyed by an alien popularly known as Michael.

Narrating his ordeal to hello fm, the aged farmer bemoaned over how the trespasser used the police to cause his arrest and humiliated him after he went to his own farm.

Mr Kofi Asare-Bediako further lamented that, after several complains to the Asonomaso Nifahene who is currently the caretaker of the community, the situation still remains futile, however construction are still ongoing on the land and moreover the police has warned him not to step on the land again.
