The Electoral Commission of Ghana EC, has released the list, album of the special voters. Individual in the category can go to their various constituency or MMDAs of registration for exhibition.
The special voting arrangement is intended to accommodate voters who will be performing election-related duties on the main polling day. They include personnel from the Security service such as Ghana Armed Forces, National Intelligence Bureau (NIB), National Security, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana National Fire Service, Prisons Service, Ghana Police Service and
Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority.
Others are the Media such as Journalists, National Media Commission and the Information Services Department.
Additionally it includes the National Ambulance Service.
The law requires such people to cast their ballots first before the general election day and such elections are termed as special voting.
The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced that special voting for the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections will be held on Monday, December 2 in all the 275 constituencies in the country.
