A video of Zongo Youth rejects rice bags donated by their Member of Parliament to help celebrate the Salah festival.
Video of Ghana youth rejecting bags of rice from their Member of Parliament to help in celebrating their festivities has caused stirs online.
According to information gathered, Member of Parliament Abu Jinapor as a usual routine decided to provide his community members with some bags of rice.
Hon Samuel Abu Jinapor is a Ghanaian lawyer and politician, a member of the New Patriotic Party and the Member of Parliament for the Damongo Constituency
However, the youth has rejected the items from the MP and have asked them to provide the youth with ways to make a living not to come and give them food.
The youth are demanding for jobs and opportunities that they can use to take care of their families and themselves, not just a back of rice that will finish just one day.
For the first time, the youth have rejected package from the Mp showing how they are distressed in search of jobs to better their lives.
This gesture speaks a lot about have enlightened the youth are these days and demanding what the MP promised during the campaign time of providing them with jobs.
