Atiwa East District: Police Lays Ambush on Railway Metal Stealers.

Police has commenced manhunt on thieves who have been stealing railways metal at Akyem Anyinam in the Atiwa East District Of Eastern Region.

Following the rampant stealing, the Anyinam Police Commander DSP Idirisu Mahama has ordered his men to lay an ambush so that those perpetrators can be arrested.

Anyinam Police Commander DSP Idirisu Mahama spoke to Dr. Boboobo that he had an information that some people have been stolen the railway metals, which he ordered his men to lay ambush to get the perpetrators.

The thieves were able to run away and left the metals and the driver who was to convey the metals to wherever they are taking it to.

Police arrested the driver and managed to bring the exhibit to the station for further investigation, meanwhile the driver has been granted bail for thorough investigations.
