Afigya Kwabre District over years has lacked and bemoaned over at least one Hospital in the district since its creation from Kwabre East District.
The District Director of Health Services, Mrs Anna Ofori has called on government and stakeholders to come to their Aid since the only few health centres can not absorb serious cases and thereby referring patients to Okomfo Anokye results to lot of mortality.
The Health Director made this passionate appeal when Calvary Life Baptist Chapel based in America resourced Adumakasekese Health Centre with medical equipments at the community on Saturday. She appealed to the Chief and people to change the fixtures and fitting with new wires as it has been obsolete resulting to electrical shocks.
Mrs Anna Ofori implored the people in the community to be content with the health facility and avoid stressing and choking themselves in other facilities.
Handing over the assorted health materials worth millions of dollars to the Health Director on behalf of the participants, the Pastor of the Calvary Life Baptist Chapel, Lord Asante Boadu told the people that the gesture was his part to develop and improve the lifes of his people.
The Adumakasekese born America Pastor admonished health workers to sacrifice and with tender loving care, provide efficient health services to the citizenry.
In addition, the assembly woman for Adumakasekese electoral area, Hon Obaa Yaa Pokua in a welcome address revealed the rate at which armed robbers have been attacking them especially market women who early wake up and come home late from market in Kumasi was very precarious.
Hon Yaa raise-course as majority know her at the assembly appealed to individuals, corporate bodies and philanthropists to support them to complete their selves initiated police station.
