About 14 year old girl is reportedly drowned in an abandoned galamsay pit at Denkyira Dominase.
The young girl according to eyewitness was identified as Boahemaa met her untimely death when she seen been been submerged in an abandoned galamsay pit full of water at Denkyira Dominase in the Upper Denkyira West District in the Central Region.
It is still not clear what might have caused the sudden demise of the young school going girl but sources, however, say, Boahemaa lifeless body was bleeding from the nose and mouth without any cut or sign of injuries.
Confirming the incident to a colleague via a telephone call, The Unite Committee chairman for the area, Addai Clement says the police, with the help of the community members have retrieved the remains of the girl.
According to Mr Addai, the mummy has since been deposited at Dominase hospital morgue for autopsy commencement.
