The Baworo Vocational and Training Institute located within Ejisu-Juabeng Municipality is calling for the support of the government through the Municipal Assembly and the Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Owusu Aduomi to resource the institution to reduce the numerous challenges confronting the School.
Baworo Vocational and Training Institute is part of ICESS Organization under the ministry of employment and labour relation that aim to create youth employment opportunities to combat unemployment rate and mitigating rural-urban drifts.
Unveiling the centre’ 20th anniversary celebration at Baworo on Tuesday the Manager of the institution, Mr. Darko K. Paul in a welcome address bemoaned over lacks so many facilities being classrooms, workshop, laboratories, Library and among others leading to congestion and inefficiency in the Baworo ICCES.
Mr. Darko Paul told the participated stakeholders that, in spite of the limitations of the centre, Baworo ICCES’ 20 years has empowered and trained many students and youth in demand driven employable skills for self employment through micro and small-scale enterprises to promote the socio economy.
