As calls have been made on the ranks and files of the New Patriotic Party folks to channel their energies towards promoting the party’s peace, unity and for that to bury their differences so as to be able to break the 8 years jinx rule.

This news portal can boldly report that currently discrepancies have been resolved among the Member of Parliament Vincent Ekow Aseffuah, the Municipal Chief Executive, Fred Obeng Owusu as well as the NPP Executives in Old Tafo-Pankrono Constituency in the Ashanti Region and are now smoking peace pipe.

There have been a long-standing dispute between the MP and together with the MCE and the Constituency Executives after the New Patroitic Party primaries and the 2020 general election, that according to the Member of Parliament, could not work with the MCE and the party Executives, therefore wish the President to nominate different person other than the current MCE, Hon Fred Obeng Owusu.

But speaking at their Annual Delegates Conference which sought party folks to desist from actions that will ruin their electoral fortunes ahead of the 2024 polls, Hon Vincent Ekow Assefuah declared to support and work with the MCE to speed up development of Tafo and Pankrono to be able to break the 8 in the Constituency.

The Legislator assured the gatherings to construct a police post at Pankrono to help clamp down criminalities so as to ascertain peace for the residents to enjoy stay without fear and panic at night, adding that works will soon begins on the long time Pankrono Health Facility to ensure its completion.

The Chief Executive, Hon Fred Obeng Owusu speaking also stated to support the MP, adding that unity is only one thing that will channels the party to climb the ladder to break the eight years jinx,

However, He urged the supporters to refrain from divisive tendencies and forge together for peace and unity to ensure rapid development.

The First Chief Executive for the Municipality after three years the later was carved out from Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly highlighted some major development the NPP government has brought to Tafo-Pankrono. Meanwhile the Constituency Chairman, who has been a Veteran politician since the Npp’s Dankwa-Busia-Dombo tradition announced that, Npp government is working assiduously to accelerate socio-economic development across the country.

He was however optimistic that the restoration of peace in Constituency, will behoove the Party’s chance in 2024, since according to him the next Presidential election is a crucial time for the New Patriotic Party.

The first vice Chair Lady, Hon. Nana Afia Konadu in a welcome address debunked rumors orchestrated by NDC that Npp government will soon halt, cancel the Free Senior High Education, FSHS.

Nana Afia Konadu affectionately called Ion Lady entreated the general public to support the Npp break the Eight years agenda since the opposition NDCs are the brainwashers who are set to abrogate every Npp flagship program initiated by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as they cancelled Teacher’s, Nurse’s allowances and Health Insurance Scheme.
