Saturday in Accra: Thousands Join Ken Agyapong’s showdown walk, “I’ll put you to work, who born dog”

The most popular presidential aspirant of the New Patriotic Party, Hon Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has once again assured the youths of Ghana that he will put them to work.

Addressing thousands of people in Accra during his show down health walk, the Assin Central Legislator sadly recalled from Ahafo region that, majority of constituency and polling station executives were holding Masters, first degrees but they are unemployed.

“Who born dog that under administration of Kennedy Agyapong that someone with Masters degree will be there without working, you’re going to work, I’ll put you to work” he said.

When NPP presidential aspirant Ken Ohene Agyapong reacted to his agent’s life being threatened, many thought his “Showdown” warning would doom his campaign. But rather it has evolved into a craze that has taken Ghana by storm.

So catchy has the “Showdown” craze become that the main primaries opponent and Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has joined in using the term on his campaign trail.

The three mile-long procession began at Ayi Mensah with thousands honking and shouting pro-Ken slogans as thousands more disembarked from buses from the opposing side of the dual-carriage road to join in.
