Fire Service Warns Public Over Prank Calls

Prank calls affect emergency response to fires; Ghana National Fire Service intensifies operation stop prank calls in Ahafo Region

The Ghana National Fire Service command in Ahafo Region has intensifies it’s campaign dubbed “Operation end prank calls” saying it’s affect emergency response to fires.

The Ahafo Regional Commander of the Ghana National Fire Service, ACFO II Joseph Koranteng said the situation affects it’s emergency response to fires and waste of resources.

ACFO II Joseph Koranteng told Success FM’s Atiewin Mohammed that though Ahafo Region records less prank calls in the 2021 5, 2022 recorded 2 but this year from January till now we record 4

ACFO II Joseph Koranteng has therefore appeal to the people of Ahafo Region to stop and also encourage landlords, companies and workshops to acquire fire extinguishers.
