Eschew Bad Working Ethics For Quality Productivity ~ Minister advises Ghanaian Workers

Ghana’s Minister responsible for transport, Kwaku Ofori Asiamah has called on Ghanaian workers to do away with any form of bad habit at work which will jeopardize productivity.

Mr. Ofori Asiamah made the admonishing at the 5th-anniversary celebration of the International Maritime Hospital held in Tema.

According to him, many Ghanaian workers, especially in the public sector do not take their work seriously thinking that it is government work and therefore handle it anyhow.

He, therefore, called on all Ghanaian workers especially those in the health sector to take their job as theirs for the betterment of all.

Mr. Asiamah still at the podium called on the management of the facility to ensure routine maintenance of facility for a longer service.

He suggested to the management to engage with their suppliers to train some staff to be able to help in maintaining the facility.

The CEO of the International Maritime Hospital, IMaH, Dr. Akwasi Afiriyie Acheampong also speaking to Peace News after the ceremony, advised the public to seek regular medical checks, and not wait until they are down before visiting the hospital.

He recommended the IMaH facility to the general public since it has been rated one of the best medical facilities in Africa.

The event in attendance was the director general of GPHA, the Board of Directors, Mr. Paul Asare Ansah the immediate past Director of GPHA, and the management and staff of the International Maritime Hospital.
