The District Chief Executive of Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa district, Hon Lawrence Edutua-Asiaw has received massive applause from constituents of his home town for sending contractors to work on a deplorable roads linking the communities.
As part of the DCE’s commitment to enhance motorability of all roads within the AOB district, work began yesterday 2nd September 2022, immediately when he was traveling to his home town and found a deplorable road linking the community.
The DCE and his contractors began from Breman Kuntsenase where the contractor completed the spot from the bridge through the Pacific filling station popularly known as Paradise, the spot in front of the Salvation school and from the Cemetery area to the completed road towards Agona Odoben.
This exercise will cover roads such as the Kuntanase-Ekurakese, Boame-Nkwanta Bosomase-Nyankukwaa, Breman Asikuma to Ayipey and some other critical roads as the 30km package will be exhausted.
“I am hopeful, by the close of this month, this exercise will be completed so as to ease commuters the difficulties we go through plying these roads” he told the residents.
