Sunyani Traditional council pledges to support MCE.

It would be recalled that, the Municipal Chief Executive of the Sunyani Municipality, Hon Ansu Kumi paid what many describes as a great move, a working visit to the Private Residence of the Paramount Chief of the Area, Nana Bosoma Asor Nkrawiri ll to solicit his advice and guidance as he discharges his duties when and after he was nominated and confirmed respectively as the representative of the President.

In response to this rare move, the Traditional authority has declared their unwavering support to the administration of the deferential MCE today at the Palace.

Speaking on behalf of the Paramount Chief, the Akwamuhene, Nana Kwaku Sarbeng ll, maintained that, the degree of respect shown by the MCE towards the Traditional council is worth commending and as such they would champion his vision for the Municipality with him.

The celebrated Queen mother, Nana Akusua Asor Brayie ll was gracefully seated flanked by the sub Chiefs at the occasion.

thronged with joy, the versatile Chief Executive stated in a brief remark ” I would not fail you, Nananom, I will, together with you solve the litany of problems bedeviling us because if I fail you, I have failed the people”.

We would do what it takes within the purview of consultations and law to bring development to our people”.

“As have been mentioned, our roads are in bad shape but honestly, the Nana Addo led administration together with the MP have brought in significant kilometers of roads which are under construction and the hope is that, once that is completed, it would mitigate partly, the worries on our roads”.

“However, I am mindful of the fact that we still need more kilometers of road contracts to ameliorate completely, the concerns and with God, You, the MP and my Minister together with the President, we would deliver”.

“On poor Sanitation, Nananom, we are to role out effective means to dealing with it and I know this venture would need our total commitment to fix the menace”.
