Hon. Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah Member of Parliament for Techiman South Constituency the Bono East regional capital has given over 13,000 residents in over 15 communities portable drinking water by installing boreholes.
Some of the beneficiary communities are Anomatoa, Benkai, Tobaccomu, Ampemkrom, Fiaso, Bomene, Pahoso, Dogo Akura, Woraso, Unas Akura, Nsuta, Kaniago, Old Bomiri, Anitinfe, Akisimasu and many others.
Speaking in an interview with Peace News correspondent Nana Kwadwo Adu in Techiman when he commissioned some of the completed boreholes, Hon. Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah who is also a deputy Minister for Local government, Decentralization and Rural development noted that it was very sad that in modern day Ghana some people unfortunately competed for water with livestock therefore his priority to end such menace.
Meanwhile, some residents of the beneficiary communities have showered praises on the MP for coming to their aid.
