The Management of Methodist Faith Healing Hospital at Ankase in Afigya Kwabre District of Ashanti has disclaimed report that has gone viral on social media purported that the Hospital together with a group of surgeons from the USA would be conducting free surgeries from 10-21st December, 2017.
A statement signed by the Ag Médical Director of the Hospital, Dr Reginald Kofi Sefah Nkansah indicated that the information was not coming from that Hospital as its being alleged.
He noted that heart surgeon is among the most important complex surgical procedures requiring high level of expertise and equipment which the Hospital currently does not have, again accréditation for foreign health professionals associated with such surgeries would have to be sought from relevant bodies in Ghana.
Dr Reginald Kofi Sefah Nkansah advised the general public to disregard such information and treat it as scam and also inform others accordingly.
The Ag Medical Director called on Ghana Security agencies to track the person(s) behind this and bring the perpetrators in to book.
