Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Kwabre East, Hon. Joseph Amankwah, led a delegation to Holy Quran Primary and Junior High School following a severe windstorm that caused extensive damage to the school’s infrastructure.

Accompanying the MCE were the Municipal Education Director, Mr. Baffour Asare, the Presiding Member, Hon. Bruce Yeboah, the NDC Party Chairman, Hon. Kufulu and other officials. The visit aimed to assess the extent of the damage and engage with school authorities and stakeholders on the way forward.

Hon. Joseph Amankwah expressed his sympathy for the impact of the disaster and assured both the school authorities and the Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) of the Assembly’s commitment to supporting efforts to rebuild and restore the affected facilities.

The School authorities provided a detailed briefing on the destruction caused by the storm, emphasizing the urgent need for assistance to avoid disruption to teaching and learning. The PTA expressed their gratitude to the MCE and his team for the visit and the assurances of support.

Holy Quran School, situated in the Kwabre East Municipality, offers education from the primary to junior high school level. The institution places a strong emphasis on Islamic education, reflecting its commitment to nurturing both the academic and spiritual development of its students.

The MCE’s visit underscores the Assembly’s no dedication to fostering collaboration and ensuring that practical solutions are implemented swiftly to restore normal academic activities.
