Kwabre East GNAT Delegates Conference: MP reaffirms his commitment to the welfare of Teachers in the constituency

During the 7th quadrennial district delegates conference of the Ghana National Association Teachers GNAT, in Kwabre district Hon Onyina Acheampong Akwasi Gyamfi the Kwabre East Legislator addressed the concerns of Teachers with clarity and firmness.

He assured them that under his tenure as the Member of Parliament for the area, Teachers and workers in the education sector will be resourced with adequate teaching infrastructure and incentives whereby instituting best Teachers award with his common fund so as to motivate and improve their performance for them to teach very well.

The MP said “As we embark on our next chapter, we are committed to building on our legacy of excellence. We will continue to innovate, collaborating with educators, policymakers, and industry leaders to address emerging challenges and opportunities in education”

He noted that, the condition of Teachers who are the principal persons impacting knowledge into the students is dwindled and that depreciates the assimilation of the students.

Speaking to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Ghana education service, Mr Onyina admonished the teachers to reflect on a legacy of dedication to educational improvements and a commitment to staying abreast of global trends in education.

“As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, we are mindful of the rapidly changing landscape of education. Global trends such as personalized learning, technology integration, and competency-based education are redefining the way we approach teaching and learning. Our organization has been proactive in embracing these trends, providing training and support to educators and institutions to ensure they remain relevant and effective”, Hon Onyina Acheampong Akwasi Gyamfi reiterated.

The Kwabre district GNAT as part of the GES 50th anniversary also elected their new district executives.

The newly elected district GNAT chairman, Richard Ampadu in his acceptance speech assured his members that his 4 years mandate will ensure that the association gets its own permanent office complex to curb volumes of money spend on renting.

By so doing according to him will reserve enough funds to cater for the welfare of the their members and other relevant programs.
