Fire outbreaks: Stop cooking, Illegal connection in markets. NADMO cautions market traders.,

DESIST FROM COOKING, ILLEGAL CONNECTION AT MARKET CENTRES TO PREVENT FIRE OUTBREAKS AT MARKET CENTRES NADMO CAUTION TRADERS

National NADMO coordinator Nana Agyemang Prempeh has described the recent Takoradi makeshift market fire arson as a catastrophe looking at properties it has destroyed

Over 237 stores burnt with millions of properties destroyed a situation nadmo is doing accesment to know how to support the affected victims

Speaking to Appiah Danquah Rok fm, Mr Agyemang disclosed that nadmo together with regional coordinating council are working together as a committee towards to acces the situation

He has therefore pledged the government support towards to work hard to bring the places burnt back to work so that the people who are heavily affected will get back to thier position. Mr Agyemang Prempeh made this remarks when he inspected the area that got burnt and interacted with the victims.

Nana Agyemang Prempeh again expressed worry about indecent activities at our market centres and the way nadmo is working hard to stopping them at our market centres

He again caution people in the Takoradi makeshift market that cooking with cylinders, coalport at market centres must be a thing of the past since offenders will not be spared

He again urged traders to contact accredited electricians for wiring to ensure electrical faults that normally bring fire outbreaks are controlled.
