Father, Son Allegedly Butchered 20 Year Old Man Over Land Issues.

A 57 year-old man, Mr.Kofi Gyapong and son have allegedly butchered a 20 year old Ishmael Baidoo at Sefwi Bekwai in the Bibiani Anhwianso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.

The incident occurred Monday, 19th September 2022, Sefwi Bekwai Zongo roundabout, when the victim (Baidoo Ishmeal) and his close friend decided to go to pluck cocoa beans at Sefwi Poboase.

The suspect has been apprehended by Sefwi Bekwai District Police Command, but was later released due to the health condition of the suspect.

In an interview with the victim, Ishmael Baidoo, stated that anytime he comes across with the man, he threatens him which he has once reported him to the police.

So unfortunately he said, on Tuesday morning, he encountered with the man with his friend and passed by him but to his dismay heard a loud voice run!, run!

According to him the suspect intended to chop off his head however he used his arms to save from slashing to save the head.

The victim said after he reported the incident to the police, he hurriedly rushed to hospital for a emergency treatment.

Stephen Ackah, an eyewitness, and intimate friend of the victim gave a brief summary of what actually transpired.

He confirmed the man and his son to allegedly butchered his friend (Ishmeal Baidoo) to pulp.

Mr.Kofi Gyapong, the suspect, refute the allegations peddled against him and his son.

However he said that he has sent a delegation to visit the victims family to apologise on his behalf.
